I made these baguettes over the weekend and they evaporated as soon as I took them out of the oven

  • 450 g puff pastry
  • 300 g salami / ham
  • 200 g cheese
  • a galbeus

Servings: -

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Crispy baguettes:

The sheet of dough is spread with the rolling pin on the floured table.

Place the slices of salami / ham on half a sheet, grate the cheese on top. Sprinkle the left side with water and cover with it the part with ham and cheese. and slice with the dough roll into 2 cm strips, twist and grease with yolk.

Put them in a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.

And now the most beautiful part: they are eaten ....... lol! They are delicious !!!!!!

Wand filled with tuna

Today I have a wonderful appetizer idea for you: BAGUETA FILLED WITH TUNA. It is a very simple recipe, I promise you, as I used to. The wand comes out delicious and I am absolutely convinced that any guest will be super delighted after tasting it. In addition, we must admit that it looks very good. Lots of color that makes you crave instantly. You have to taste, then taste another piece and so on!

I chose a tuna filling, but you should know that here you can play according to your preferences. You can make a cheese filling with peppers, avocado paste and vegetables or various meats. You can even make which combination you like best.

I don't want to talk to you too much, so I'll leave you with the delicious wand recipe below!

Ingredients

  • a wand
  • preserves the tone
  • 3 sour cucumbers
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 100 g of ham
  • seedless olives
  • a lemon

How easy is it to prepare? I'll show you now!

First, cut the baguette in half and dig out the core with a fork.

Chop all the ingredients + the core of the baguette and squeeze the lemon juice over them. We taste and see if we need more spices.

It is filled with a small baguette with the composition made above.

When the baguette is full (pack the composition well), keep it in the fridge until the next day, then cut it into slices and devour it. I'm really not exaggerating when I say devour. It's so tasty that the way you put it on the plate or the plate will melt instantly.

You need to keep the baguette cold after filling, so that all the ingredients sit as well as possible.

I hope you enjoyed our recipe today and I wholeheartedly hope you try it. If you get to work and need some advice, Teo is here!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with the up-down heating function.

Cut the baguettes in half lengthwise, then scoop them out with a spoon or simply remove the core by hand, leaving of course a little next to the peel.

Grease the inside of the sticks with tomato sauce.

Put the ham pieces, onion slices and pepper slices over the sauce. Grate a generous layer of cheese and put the baguettes in the oven for 5 minutes, then turn the oven on the grill function (just above) and leave for another 5-6 minutes until the cheese melts.

Remove the sticks from the oven, add a little olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano and serve.

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

so that you can turn them easily and they look beautiful, the salami slices must be very, very thin, I ask them to be sliced at the store or I take them in ready-sliced foil

I noticed that you are diligent in the last days and the nests and the wands. could the girls taste anything? how old are they?

Ardelean Ancutza 9 years ago - 6 November 2008 21:34

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

you forgot the tart. I also made onion and potato tart today. The girls didn't really like it. the tart was with onions, the baguettes didn't really appeal to them, they prefer classic pizza. The eldest, Larisa is 4 and a half years old and Adela is almost 2 years old. I am waiting for other praises tomorrow, the "half" will appear and I hope he will appreciate the effort. Anyway, he liked the nests madly, out of 26 that came out, 20 I sent with him.

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

if I knew you had a party, I'd put them on faster. but it's good that you were successful with the rest, I see you kind of pamper the little ones, you prepare something different for each celebration

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

At each celebration we have a small party for the children, after working so hard. we have to reward them with something, and we moms each decide what we bring. Now we also celebrated, because only in our honor was the celebration

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

every time it is announced that the guests prepare your baguettes quickly, they get out of the mess very easily, they are all crazy about them. I started to make another recipe starting from yours, instead of cheese and salami I use Parmesan, I didn't give up on oregano, they are very good. I was thinking of making them with olives, I ate some from the trade that were imported and I liked them. I'll let you know how they came out, maybe try the ones with Parmesan.

Ioana 8 years ago - 11 September 2009 12:53

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

ah, the baguettes, I didn't make Parmesan. with parmesan but a little chili in addition to oregano to be spicy I think they are good

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

I keep looking, and I don't understand how you should cut them, to turn them. sorry, but I'm in the kitchen at first

Ioana 8 years ago - 21 September 2009 21:31

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

the explanatory pictures are missing because when I posted this recipe my device was downloaded. sorry

you look at the first picture below: you have to bring the dough free over the area with the filling. then with a pizza cutter cut your 2 finger wide strips from the bottom to the top as you look at the picture. you twist those strips carefully so that the filling does not fall out of them.

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

Hello !
I did them for the first time in September at the boy's mule and they were successful.
now I made something else: I grated mozzarella instead of cheese or parmesan and I also grated the salami (salami milano or sinaia because they are stronger), I mixed the 2 grated compositions and put them on the dough.
and they came out even easier (the first time I struggled to twist them).
thanks for the recipes.

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

here is the pizza dough recipe: [link] but another dough is also suitable. in the "Doughs" section here [link] you can find a lot of yeast dough recipes. and when I'm in a hurry and I don't have time to raise dough, I buy ready-made dough from the bakery next to me.
I don't grease the chopsticks, but you can grease them with beaten egg or oil if you want.

Re: Crispy pizza style baguettes

Congratulations for the site. Would you like me to ask you how to make pizza dough for this recipe? From "350 gr pizza dough (water + flour + salt)" I couldn't figure it out (I'm a beginner in the kitchen). Shouldn't the sticks be greased with anything before baking? Thanks
