Desert cozonac coronita

Desert cozonac coronita

It took: Mix 250 ml of warm milk with yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar and leave to rise for 10-15 minutes. Gradually add 250 g of flour and mix. Cover the bowl and leave to rise for 50 minutes in a warm place.

In a bowl, mix 2 eggs, 7 lg sugar, salt, water, 2 lg oil and 2 lg melted butter. Pour this mixture over the dough prepared earlier and mix. Gradually incorporate all the flour and knead for 10 minutes. It is left to rise for 1-2 hours (I kept it for 1 hour and 30 minutes).

Poppy filling: Grind the poppy. Boil 125 ml of milk with 5 lg of sugar, then add the poppy seeds and butter. Take the pan off the heat and let it cool. Add 1/2 egg white, beaten foam.

Walnut filling: Grind the walnuts. In another pan, boil 5 lg of milk with 150 g of sugar, then add the ground walnuts. Take the pan off the heat and add 1/2 egg white, beaten foam.

Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Make two rolls, one with poppy seeds, one with walnuts, knit them and make a wreath. Cut in the middle of each braid and grease with an egg yolk. Keep in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for 40 minutes.

Try a skewer stick.

Preparation Royal crown with strawberries

1. Mix the soft butter, at room temperature, with a cup of sugar, the yolks and the essence until it foams, then pour a little milk and finally the flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa. Grease a round baking dish with a hole (guguluf type) with butter then cover with flour and pour the dough above and let it bake at the right temperature for about 20 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt and sugar until it hardens well and at the end we drip the lemon juice.

3. After 20 minutes, remove the cocoa top and pour the meringue over it. I put it in the oven and leave it for about 5-10 minutes, until the meringue is lightly browned. Carefully remove the cake from the form, let it cool well, then cut the top lengthwise, horizontally into two pieces, but be very careful not to spoil the shape of the meringue.

4. Prepare two sachets of pudding as follows: heat 600 ml of milk with 8 tablespoons of sugar, then pour over the pudding powder, stirring constantly with a whisk, continuing to stir on the low flame of the stove, until the cream thickens . Leave the cream to cool for 5 minutes, then add a small cube of butter, until you incorporate all the butter. This still hot cream is poured with a pos over half of the cocoa top (the bottom, without cream) then place a layer of half strawberries. Pour hot cream over them from the 3rd bag of pudding, prepared in the same way as the other two, then place on top, with great care and half a countertop with meringue.

You can also decorate the meringue on the side, with halves of strawberries. Refrigerate for about an hour to harden, then cut into thin slices
Good appetite!

Cozonac crowned with walnut cream and dried fruit

& quotGoodies for Christmas & quot
This year I wanted a cake a little different from the classic one for the holidays! I've been thinking about a crown-shaped cake for a long time. The model didn't turn out as perfectly as I imagined, but I really liked its taste: walnut cream with a lot of rum, but also plenty of dried fruits & # 8230I enjoyed every bit of coffee, and some even a cup of hot milk! It's a great cake!

First, dissolve the yeast in warm milk, then add a tablespoon of sugar and two tablespoons of flour and let the composition rise. Meanwhile, put the rest of the flour in a large bowl, and the eggs, the remaining sugar, the butter at room temperature, the grated lemon peel and the salt in a smaller one. Check the yeast composition and put it over the flour if it has risen enough. Mix everything well, then gradually pour the egg mixture. Knead well and leave the dough to rise.

After the dough has doubled in volume, spread it on a work surface with a rolling pin. The sheet obtained must be neither too thick nor too thin, but suitable. The next step is to lubricate the sheet with the 30 g of melted butter. Then grate the chocolate on top and roll carefully. At the end, after you get a kind of roll, cut it from place to place into approximately equal slices.

Prepare a round tray with baking paper, then place the dough slices in it, forming a crown. Leave the preparation to rise for about 15 minutes, then grease it, optional step, with a mixture of milk and egg. After that, put the chocolate crown in the preheated oven over medium heat and wait for it to brown.

Chocolate wreath is a festive dessert that is an exceptional choice to welcome your guests during the winter holidays.

We wish you good work and happy holidays!

Coronita aperitif

Family meals and holiday meals have a special charm, hard for me to describe in words! But one thing I know for sure: nothing makes me happier than to have a house full of souls and to see them happy with the dishes on the table! Today I show you the recipe for Coronita aperitif, which goes perfectly in the middle of holiday meals or family meals! & # x2764

Coronita appetizer - Everything you need to know about the recipe

  • It is very easy to prepare, although it looks like a "worked" recipe, which takes a long time to prepare.
  • The dough is a very simple pizza, which we prepare in a blender or in the food processor, in less than 5 minutes. Nothing complicated!
  • If you don't have a food processor, the easiest way is to knead it by hand. Don't worry, it's a quick dough, you don't have to knead a lot, but only until the composition is bound.
  • For Coronita appetizer we use a tray 30-32 cm in diameter. In the middle we put a bowl of 8-10cm diameter.

  • What do we put in the bowl as a sauce for Coronita appetizer? I chose a combination of simple tomato sauce (or tomato puree) that I seasoned with salt, pepper, herbs. You can also put a Ranch Sauce (click for recipe) which is a white sauce, based on mayonnaise. Or, if you want a super quick sauce, mix ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard in equal amounts. And, of course, the simplest and yet so suitable option: simple mustard!
  • I chose the filling Pikok Polish Sausages - Clean recipe from Lidl & # x2764

What does CLEAN RECIPE mean, the label with which the sausages from Lild stores are marked?

Lidl intensifies its efforts to offer us products of the best quality and, from the Pikok own brand sausages but also in many of the sausages from local producers. 6 additives were removed from the ingredient list.

You know that I am very familiar with Lidl products and have been cooking with them for years, so I can promise you that it is a big step forward and this is primarily felt in the taste of the products.
